A Canadian woman and her four children were seeking
shelter from an abusive relationship and staying with an elderly
couple. Their story takes a turn into the newsworthy when the woman
went sleepwalking in an "erotic dream state," then removed some of her
clothing and began grinding on her host, 35 years her senior. The host
began reciprocating her behavior, when the woman woke up and realized
her hijink. She asked the man to stop, which he immediately did.
The question that was then hashed out in the courts was whether the host, Paul Kut, was guilty of sexual assault.
