a nationwide manhunt, a Massachusetts teacher is in custody today in
West Virginia. Authorities, parents, and students alike were "freaking
out" over first-year eighth grade teacher Lisa Lavoie of Holyoke,
Mass., when she eloped with a fifteen-year-old boy from her class. The
pair used the school break as a head start, but the police had already
been suspicious beforehand, leading to a quick capture.
Woman and
child were believed to be trying to make a run for the Mexican border,
but they were apprehended at a hotel room not even a third of the way
down the map.
Meanwhile, in Idaho, another female teacher has
been arrested and faces life in prison for something so unspeakable,
it'll make you say, "What... the rest of her life... for that?"
