  • The Vagina Tree

Brooklyn, where four of your Scanner bloggers live, is full of sexually suggestive trees. First it was the Mighty Bukkake Tree, and now the Vagina Tree, found in Scanner Emily's neighborhood. You can call it the Vulva Tree if you want, but we think Vagina Tree sounds better.

(Note the brown leaves. We actually found this tree a long, long time ago but just found our camera cord today. Maybe we're due for a picture of the Vagina Tree in the spring?)

  • Behold The Mighty Bukkake Tree

Perhaps in your neck of the woods, you're already familiar with the Bradford Pear? Tall, with beautiful white blossoms, the Bradford Pear blooms in early spring and has been used to beautify many North American cities and suburbs.

Also: it smells exactly like cum. Like, when you walk under it, it's like getting a facial by Father Nature himself. If you see one in the next few days -- Brooklynites, they're definitely around and in full effect -- take a whiff and tell us we're not wrong.

  • What's Love Really Got to Do With It, Ike Turner?

    Nothing, Ike. Absolutely nothing.

Somehow we were the last to hear that Ike Turner had died. You see, every once in a while we have to turn off the Internets and the TV and experience the trees and the fresh air like normal, breathing human beings. And of course, we always seem to do that when big news breaks. So, imagine our surprise when we returned to the wired world only to find that Ike Turner had died. And then imagine our disappointment when we tried to tell people and everybody already knew.

Once we got past that initial disappointment of not actually bringing the news, we tried to figure out what to say about the man, the myth, the legend that was Ike Turner. And we didn't want to bring you yet another piece about how Ike beat Tina, since we generally like to end on a positive note here at Scanner, and you already knew that, and the man did just died. So, we thought we'd just leave you with this instead:
