You would think the most bizarre thing about a woman biting off her boss's penis would be the part where the woman bites off her boss's penis.

You obviously haven't been reading Nerve for very long...

An unidentified 30-year-old female in Singapore will probably never give oral again-- and her boss never receive it-- after this disturbing incident. While the married lady was going down on her superior in a park car, a van crashed into them, similar to that scene in The World According to Garp where the cheating wife is blowing her young student and Robin Williams pulls into the driveway and... ow.

The most bizarre part of the story is that the lovers were found by the private detective that was spying on them on behalf of the woman's husband.

The woman ran from the scene screaming, her mouth covered in blood, but ultimately accompanied her man (no, the other one) to the hospital, where he was treated but probably not fully repaired.

Today in rumor mongering, an update on the possible infidelity of Jon Gosselin, the TLC reality TV dad of eight who may have decided eight was enough. As mentioned on Scanner last week, he's been seen about town with a young woman who is not his wife. Now Us Weekly has a cover story with the headline "Jon & Kate: Affair With a Teacher."

The alleged other woman is Deanna Hummel, a 25-year-old teacher who lives with her brother. And this brother, Jason, apparently sold her out to Us in the guise of helping her out of this situation.

"He [Jon] is a bad liar. This isn’t healthy for her. But she is refusing to help herself, so here I am trying to help her myself. I hope this clears the air.”

He goes on to say, “A lot of the time, it was pretty, um, gross listening to her, you know, um — how do I say this? The walls are thin. Let’s just say that. I mean, no one wants to hear his sister having sex, let alone with a married dude who’s, like, almost twice her age and who has eight kids and a maybe-crazy wife. Ick. Nast.”

For one thing, bro, he's seven years older, not exactly twice her age. But for another, isn't that a sign of the times? He's helping her by airing her dirty laundry to a tabloid magazine.

Jim Gibbons, Republican Governor of Nevada and accused sexual assailant, is one helluva piece of work. We've previously told you about Gibbons and an incident involving a waitress who claims she was assaulted and told to "shut up" by the Governor one night in a parking garage, although no charges were filed.

Now, the juicy details of the Gibbons family divorce are burning up the wire...

Mrs. Dawn Gibbons was sick of Gibbons and his philandering, although it was the Governor who filed for divorce last spring. Nonetheless, she has a bone to pick with him about his affairs with two specific women, although more infidelities are alleged.

1) One woman received approximately 860 texts from Gibbons's state-issued cell. When this information first came to light, Romeo was forced to reimburse $130. According to USA Today, Gibbons denies these were love notes.

2) As depicted in the photograph above, the Love Gov. is alleged to have snatched up a colleague's ex-wife: specifically the ex-wife of Reno's Mayor, who happens to be Leslie Durant, a former Playboy bunny and, we believe, Miss September 1989, something not reported in the mainstream media. (See here for a blog that discusses their relationship and outs her as 9/89's girl.) UPDATE: It has come to our attention that someone other than a Leslie Durant was Miss September that year, although there is a variety of evidence Leslie Durant (probably under her maiden name) appeared in Playboy that month.

Let us remind everyone that it's better to break up with someone than to cheat on them and try to get away with it. Gibbons hasn't learned that lesson from Bill Clinton or Spitzer, apparently.

A woman in Silsbee, Texas is going through one helluva messy divorce. She's already engaged to another guy and, after getting drunk one night, had breakup sex with her hubby. Not long after, the woman's husband was arrested for filming that one-off sexual encounter on a hidden video camera.

And it only gets worse... and weirder...

Danielle Taylor, who prefers that her name be printed instead of "unnamed woman," would never claim to be 100% perfect. She only met her husband last January and they were already filing for divorce nine months later. On top of that, she was already engaged to another guy before 2008 was up. Then, one night, she decided to get drunk and have sex with her still-husband. But the fact that he filmed her and ultimately blackmailed her is in no way her fault.

It turns out that Taylor's stepfather had set up a video camera in the trailer where the sex took place, and the husband, Brian Bush threatened to mail the fiancee a tape of his future bride if she didn't dump the guy. Did you catch that? Her own stepfather.

Luckily, Taylor intercepted a UPS delivery of the package, but we're guessing that won't matter much to the guy who ultimately finds out about his girlfriend's extra-curricular sex life in the hometown newspaper. Anyway, the husband and the stepfather were both arrested on improper photography charges. They each face up to 24 months in prison...

...however... Taylor pointed out that her (ex-)husband did call her to apologize for sending the tape and warned her to catch the mail before her fiancee saw it. Also, Taylor told a reporter that her "father" is too old for prison life. You can read more about the case at this link.

We're guessing he grew tired of watching their sex tape. 44-year-old Steven Klig tried to blackmail his former lover, years after their liaisons, by threatening to send a DVD of their good times to her husband.

But this only grazing the surface of the story-- not only is Klig a married father of two, among the many revelations from this New York Post story: Klig sent some of his threats from Disney World, where he was on vacation with the wife and kids; Klig didn't want hush money. No, what he wanted was totally bizarre...

He wanted five photos of his victim, several of which wouldn't even feature her in a state of undress. Nonetheless, the woman refused and got the Federales involved:

The next day, an agent posing as the woman wrote Klig back, asking what he wanted and pleading, "I want to keep my family out of this."

He allegedly responded, "I don't need money. What I really want is something new to look at."
Klig then allegedly detailed his preferences for the "first installment" as: "(1) fully clothed; (2) without your shirt; (3) without your shirt and pants (in just a bra and panties); (4) without the bra and (5) fully nude."

He wanted to keep his family out of this? Well, even if she hadn't gone to the cops, she could have probably exacted revenge by making sure his family was entirely in the loop. But we don't condone that kind of behavior... do we?

If you find yourself asking that question over and over about your boyfriend (or, what the hell, husband), these morning radio show DJ's have discovered a surefire way to answer it with 100% accuracy...

Listen to this actual call-in clip, which doesn't appear to have been staged-- although it would've been unforgettable...

...when we were in high school, we used to pull a prank that had a similar style (although, again, the above gem is genuine.) We'd stand around the local Borders and wait as two friends of ours, a guy and a girl, would bump into a fourth friend of either gender and the fourth person would freak out-- "what are you doing here, you're cheating on me with him/her?!" Trust us, when we were fifteen, this was considered high comedy, especially when the terrified clerks would have them all ejected for fighting.

Not sure why we're mentioning this bit of immature stupidity, but maybe you haven't been able to shake off the horrible feeling that this clip has wrought. If that's the case, just think: it might be some goofball prankster couple, trying to pull off a stunt on a bunch of talk show idiots...

Debra LaFavre was 28 when she had sex with a fourteen-year-old male student. And so it comes as no surprise that Anna Louise Thompson, a twenty-eight-year-old now-ex-teacher in Brisbane, chose a girl of the same age to engage in a whirlwind three-year affair.

This story features a twist so unbelievable, we were sure the media made it up...

It all started when Thompson proposed the 14-year-old girl go to lunch with her. It soon escalated into sleepovers and racy text messages... while Thompson continued to be married to her husband. (Didn't he think something was strange when his wife kept staying over some kid's house?!)

So, everyone's thrilled with this arrangement and live happily ever after, right? Wrong. After falling in love with-- gasp!-- a guy at her school, the then-16-year-old student reported her teacher to the proper authorities and... well, you can guess what happened next.

Face it, if you cheat on somebody for a year and a half, you probably don't "love" your partner, at least not in the traditional sense. Far too often, people use the L-word (not that L Word) to describe their feelings, when they really mean "I'm really attached and dependent on you."

We've never seen a more perfect example to back up this argument than a woman who we came across in the Daily Mail today when reading that story about the eight-year-old's makeover party...

The rundown is basically this: a woman with a husband and daughter started an affair with a married man, an affair that has been going on for 18 months. She is absolutely crazy about the guy and doesn't want to break it off-- but, surprise, she can't bear the thought of hurting her husband, whom she loves. Whatever we think of the situation and this woman, we absolutely do not believe she is still in love with her husband, although she claims to be. Her behavior in no way reflects an understanding of the word as we understand it. Here are some of the comments in the Daily Mail:

-Has it occurred to you that your husband might eventually be better off and happier with someone else?

Don't we all have the right to search for a faithful partner? Yet unbelieveably you claim to be denying him that right in order to "protect" him! Such charity! But what will actually hurt him more? The truth, followed by recovery and the freedom to find someone faithful, or a lifetime shackled to a partner who's betrayed him, without ever again having the option of finding one who won't?

Where's his choice in this? Do you really feel you should decide on his behalf whether he stays with an unfaithful partner? Have some courage. At least you won't lose your child, unlike him!
-I am sorry, but am I meant to feel sympathy for your plight which you have so inevitably brought on yourself. If you truly loved your husband you would have not started the affair. I hope your husband, family and friends find out what you are really like which is a very dishonest person.

The only person you are thinking about is yourself which is utterly selfish. Either admit to the affair and undergo marriage counselling or get a divorce as your husband and the lovers wife deserve honesty and love. Which you and your lover seem to be destroying.

All I can say is I hope karma pays you a visit and you get what you deserve as you certainly have no morality.

If you're strong enough to fend off your feelings for someone else, then you are probably in love. If you're not strong enough to break off an affair that's spiraling out of control, you aren't really in love enough with your husband anymore. Or maybe you're just a weakling. Either way, we have to agree, you don't deserve the guy. Whether you readers think marriage is an institution you think works for us horny humans is beside the point-- the reality here is that this person put her faith in somebody and then has betrayed them over and over again without cause. It's time to do the right thing and leave him, since he deserves someone who loves him.

Sorry for the rant, but this one had to be done.

If this very angry wife is to be believed in her anonymous column in the Times, British Airways invited her husband and a total stranger to have sex in the first class section instead of, well, in the toilets.

It gets better...

In Part 1 of what we assume to be a three or four-part diary, a woman relates the story of how her husband started his affair by having sex with, as the wife puts it, "a 27-year-old blond." They met in coach, but were bumped when their loud conversation began to disturb the other passengers. (Oh, great, now everyone who reads this article is going to start shouting on an airplane just to get bumped to First Class.) It was there that they proceeded to have sex-- what, there was no one in First Class trying to sleep? Geez...

(If BA is the “World's Favourite Airline” then that flight must be the World's Most Misguidedly Accommodating.)

Anyway, oddly enough, the wife spends the rest of her diary attacking the woman in the slyest and most pathetic ways possible. The below lines are from her story of what happened after her husband gave the woman only his first name and the company he worked for:

So began an infatuated and obsessive affair that lasted several months and bloody nearly broke us before she was cast into the ether.
I also blame her because she turned out to be Miss Bunny Boiler, who was on a mission to get him, marry him and have his babies, whatever the cost. But I also blame Google. In the days before Google, sexwith a stranger on a plane could have gone no farther. A mere first name and an occupation would not have been enough even for the most determined Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction...

Wow... she just compared a harmless woman who fell for her husband to a fictional psychopath who boiled a little girl's rabbit alive and attempted to murder human beings. That seems fair.

It would have been a better thing if she had resisted the erotic charge of Googling my husband and left herself free to go off doing what she did best, namely whoring with other fantasists just panting to become members of the Mile High Club with a slut.

Second only to the New York Times for being last to figure out what's going on Planet Earth, the Cable News Network is not exactly known for breaking cultural news or actually telling us anything we don't already know. So it's no surprise that they've taken to publishing Oprah.com's columns on their website in lieu of doing their own fact-finding...

...and the results are predictable.

Among the shock revelations:

"It's not about blaming the wife. It can't be. I mean, cheating is ridiculous. It's wrong. And you can't justify it,"

Okay so far...

What's the number one reason men cheat? Ninety-two percent of men said it wasn't primarily about the sex.
"The majority said it was an emotional disconnection, specifically a sense of feeling underappreciated. A lack of thoughtful gestures..."

Like BJ's and letting him film your threesome.

Josh says he cheated on his wife, Jennifer, because he felt underappreciated at home and started feeling insecure. "That insecurity was really the catalyst," he says. "I didn't feel comfortable going to the one person in the world I should be going to, which is my wife."

We're sorry, but you were insecure? And Oprah is letting this guy get a free ride?! We're sorely disappointed.

Men have a winning mentality.

Except when they're cheating losers.

"Does he have ownership in the team? It looks like that. But as long as they're in the game, even to the very end, they'll watch. Once it's a blowout and they know their team can't win, television goes off. And what a lot of men will say to me through this research is, 'I just felt like I couldn't win.'"

A sports metaphor for talking about men? Please, go on for a few more paragraphs like this, it isn't tiresome or cliche at all...

For the first five years of his marriage, AJ says things were rocky with his wife, Janet. "We got to the point where we were really living in separate parts of the house. I went downstairs every time I came home from work..."

The Oprah guru goes on to say AJ eventually cheated on his wife. Honestly, we're not sure the word "cheated" is appropriate, though technically correct, in this case. You were living in separate wings of the house? Unless AJ is a cover for "William J. Clinton," we're pretty sure this guy's marriage was going to end anyway...

But maybe you have a different opinion. Hating on CNN and this stupid story? Not debatable, sorry.

When Lara Logan, a CBS News and 60 Minutes correspondent in Iraq, was on the Daily Show last week, she caused a minor furor for chastising the media's coverage of the war. Who would've thought that would all be forgotten so soon, brushed aside when word of a big stinker of a sex scandal broke last night?

The Enquirer has learned exclusively that CBS Evening News and 60 Minutes foreign correspondent, Lara Logan, has been named as the “other woman” in a Texas couple Joe and Kimberly Burkett's bitter divorce.

Burkett’s wife Kimberly, 32, was so distraught with his cheating that she took an overdose of Valium...

Kimberly Burkett's attorney Susie Chmielowiec told The Enquirer, “Kimberly believes Lara stole her husband – and now they’re trying to steal her little girl."

The we're-not-too-sure-this-is-true National Enquirer story goes on to detail Katie Couric's "outrage" at the alleged behavior, Burkett's State Department job (how risque of them), and erotically-charged encounters in Baghdad safe houses.

Of course, this can only help Logan's career-- until the other day, she was all but completely under the radar. Now, she's on her way to becoming the next Paula Zahn! Meanwhile, Kimberly Burkett will have to look at Lara's mug everytime she turns on the TV for the next twenty years... ouch.

Nevada Governor Sex Scandals, Part 226

The Governor of Nevada, called "the most scandal-ridden governor in the history of" the state, and alleged molester of a woman in a parking garage, is going through a divorce so messy, he's making Scanner Emily and the rest of Las Vegas cringe...

Jim Gibbons is accused of violating the sanctity of the Republican oath with this latest round of sordid details in his crazy divorce battle. (Gibbons, you'll recall, was accused of assaulting a woman in a parking lot in 2006.)

1) "The Republican politician has brawled over custody of his 23-room official mansion – Dawn eventually moved into the guesthouse – and been repeatedly accused of lying. The month-long case has shocked even residents of Nevada's largest city, Las Vegas."

2) There is an ongoing "FBI investigation into claims that he took illegal gifts – including a free cruise staffed by Bunny Girls – from a defense contractor while serving in Congress." It was worth if it was staffed by Bunny Girls. And fuckin' free.

3) "Mrs. Gibbons detailed [her husband's] 'infatuation and involvement' with the wife of a Reno doctor. She described herself as 'a castaway wife' who had been jilted by a man who 'succumbed to the wiles' of a rival. 'Lust is the real villain here,' she claimed." Sources say the latest Love Gov. "was spotted at a sushi bar with his alleged girlfriend, and also attended her daughter's high school play."

4) Later on, Gov. Gibbons took "a dark-haired woman to the film 'Sex and the City.'"

McCain's Dumped First Wife Speaks Out

Carol McCain has finally spoken out on behalf of her ex-husband, Vietnam War hero and now anti-condom Presidential candidate.

Carol was a swimsuit model who married the future Senator in 1965, just under two years prior to his tour of duty in Vietnam...

"I thought, of course, we would live happily ever after," said Carol, who now lives in Virginia Beach.

What really happened is that John McCain had to endure five plus years of torture in a POW camp, while unbeknownst to him, his wife was undergoing multiple surgeries following a horrific car accident. However, as Carol now tells it, neither had to do with John McCain's decision to leave his wife seven years after his return from 'Nam:

"My accident is well recorded," Carol recounted. "I had 23 operations, I am five inches shorter than I used to be and I was in the hospital for six months. It was just awful, but it wasn't the reason for my divorce."
Although John married his current wife – 17 years his junior – just a month after the split, Carol insists, "I have no bitterness."

South Korea's Mind-Blowing Adultery Saga Continues

In South Korea, where adultery is not just grounds for public embarrassment but arrest as well, two of the nation's biggest stars are embroiled in a widely publicized marital meltdown that could have far-reaching ramifications for the radically conservative country.

When the fading TV heartthrob Park Chul accused his actress wife of infidelity, he ignited an undignified row that has transfixed South Korea and probably mortally wounded the careers of two of the country's top stars. But the best might yet be to come: could Korea's rawest celebrity scandal end a half-century-old law banning adultery?

Last year, Chul publicly claimed his wife had had an affair with "an Italian chef and an opera singer," which Scanner is willing to bet are probably going to be identified as Mario Batali and Luciano Pavarotti. No? Well, in any case, the wife, with the unfortunate name (at least when read in English-speaking countries) of Ok So-ri was rumored to have been secretly videotaped having the affair.

Ok stunned Koreans by calling a press conference in which she denied sleeping with the Italian – who she said had only given her English and cooking lessons – but admitted to a short affair with the singer. She then aired intimate details of her sham marriage, leaving her husband feeling, in his words, like a "pedestrian hit by a car". Park responded by filing a criminal suit against his wife for adultery...
The offence, which conservatives say is designed to protect the family, carries a two-year prison sentence, although just 47 of the 1,200 people convicted last year served jail time (most were given suspended sentences).

Ms. So-ri (or "Ok") has petitioned the country's Constitutional Court (we doubt that their Constitution is as awesome as ours, although it's probably just as usurped) to overturn the law, which some observers speculate could actually happen. We're tempted to make jokes about what this would open the door for, but we'll admit this is too scary a story to poke much fun at. (Jail for adultery? Hell, back in 1992 in this country, you could elected President because you had an affair.)

The Mayor of the Motor City is getting rolled out of town like a flaming tire, all disgraced and humiliated-like. At least he had some fun with his mistress(es?) on his way down to political hell...

Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was charged with perjury, obstruction of justice and official misconduct on Monday, stemming from a sex scandal and the prominent Democrat's handling... of a whistle-blower lawsuit against the city.

For weeks, the City Council had called for his resignation and the commoners echoed this with demands for his head. Kilpatrick had been busted for lying on the stand during a lawsuit brought by two police officers who were allegedly fired for whistleblowing/cooperating in an investigation over the Mayor's use of tax dollars to fund extramarital affairs. The affairs, meanwhile, were all apparently with one woman: his chief of staff, Christine Beatty. Ouch.

Earlier this week, we asked you which extra-maritally engaged New York Governor you would rather "get behind." In case you missed it:

Now that Spitzer has been de-governized for "going after prostitution" a little overzealously, David Paterson has come clean about his extra-marital affairs. This, of course, begs the question: which NY Governor would you rather? The sexy Spitz? Or David "he's so hot he's legally blinding" Paterson?

We want to make sure you are informed voters. So before you cast your vote, look long and hard at their photographic record, which we should have included.

And remember. It's not the size of the governorship. It's the motion of the ~~ocean~~ gubernatorial motion.

John McCain Believed To Have Had An Affair 8 Years Ago

Wednesday night, the New York Times finally broke the news of John McCain's affair, which it had been sitting on since at least December. Sources close to McCain have basically confirmed the story is true.

Just a few months ago, this "rumor" was believed to have been unsubstantiated, but it appears now that the Times just chickened out after pressure for McCain's attorneys. No one is entirely sure why they chose to run the story now, although it does give plenty of traction to the McCain campaign's new talking point: the New York Times is trying to bring down the Republican nominee, merely a day after he basically ended any discussion of a Huckabee comeback.

From the New York Times story, as it was on the NYT blog last night:

"In interviews ...two former associates said they joined in a series of confrontations with Mr. McCain, warning him that he was risking his campaign and career. Both said Mr. McCain acknowledged behaving inappropriately and pledged to keep his distance from Ms. Iseman. The two associates, who said they had become disillusioned with the senator, spoke independently of each other and provided details that were corroborated by others.

"Separately, a top McCain aide met with Ms. Iseman at Union Station in Washington to ask her to stay away from the senator. John Weaver, a former top strategist and now an informal campaign adviser, said in an e-mail message that he arranged the meeting after 'a discussion among the campaign leadership' about her."
