Dr. Shrill: The New Scanner Video Column

Thanks to everyone for making our drunken orgy in the tub a big success yesterday. We're going to make a regular habit out of goofing on "Pot Psychology" and various Nerve Video Blog features while Scanner Emily is recovering from her wounds.

Two things:

1) We need better titles. "Bathtub Bloggers" is fine for now, and "Dr. Shrill" always works above a post of the super nice and super relaxed snooze-inducer pictured above, but this is going to be a long running and widely distributed cult classic of a weekly column, so we're going to pick the catchiest title and reward its creator with a collection of nude photos. Don't worry, they won't be of us.

2) Submit questions! Either in the comments section of this post or at our new dump box: scannerquestions@gmail.com. Ask us anything, even if you're not serious. Unlike our advice columnists, we don't care if your e-mails are fake... unless of course it's obvious. So, be creative, surprise us, offend us, arouse us. Especially that.

And we'll have a special guest and more insanity for you on Friday...

Today in Architectural Porn: Bathtub Bookshelf

When we first looked at this free-standing bathtub with built-in bookshelves we thought, "that's silly, the books will get wet." Then we remebmered that we keep a ton of books and magazines in the bathroom. In fact, we have a whole collection of "bathroom books." We know they'll get a little warped and we're ok with that; it gives them extra character

So next time we have $17,000 and a big house with a big, empty bathroom, we're totally getting this Bibilo tub.

Private MySpace Photos Leaked and Posted on the Web

Just because that picture is posted here you probably think it's a lot dirtier than it actually is. If you look closely those girls are probably about 14 and that's probably someone's mom you can see in the mirror taking a picture of them. Not that it still doesn't look a little dirty. Anyway, this is apparently one of thousands of private MySpace photos that were accessed during a security breach at the social networking site and are now being posted on the web.
