Boy George Spends a Lot of Time in the Shower Room at Jail

We are still adjusting to the idea of Boy George O' Dowd being thrown in the slammer. When we loved him growing up, he was just a harmless dancing soft-pop singer with makeup and multicolored braids. Now, according to The Sun, he's a bald thug lurking in the showers in the resort jail he shares with Jack Tweed, husband of the recently deceased British reality star Jade Goody.

According to the unnamed source (of course) in the story, practically every time Jack tries to go down to the shower room, George is down there "having a wash" and "wiping himself down," there is some awkward eye contact, then Jack scampers away.

This line is the story's most surprising: "George, 47, who stands 6ft, is said to be an intimidating figure for young prisoners at the jail."

Really?

Good thing these kids aren't in a real jail.

Oh, Boy George. Why can't you stay out of trouble?

Jurors at Snaresbrook Crown Court listened on Monday to evidence about George O'Dowd's latest brush with the law. O'Dowd is facing false imprisonment charges after handcuffing a 27-year-old Norwegian escort. (Um, isn't that like their job and stuff?)

So what did the former Culture Clubber have to say for himself?

Apparently O'Dowd suspected the escort Audun Carlsen was stealing the naughty photos the two had taken together, for use on Carlsen's website.

Here are some of the highlights from the mouth of Boy:

"I absolutely admit I had him in the handcuffs, so he wouldn't go anywhere while I checked the computer. I certainly wasn't going to kill him, that's hardly going to do my career any good, is it?"

As to accusations that O'Dowd had beaten Carlsen with chains, he said, "Those are serious handcuffs, there was no reason to beat him up when I'd put him in those." O'Dowd's lawyer claimed Boy was too fat to have attacked Carlsen.

And when explaining that there had been some spanking, but it was consensual, O'Dowd sagely observed, "You can't spank anyone if they don't want you to. Unless you want to get arrested."

The jury is still out on whether Boy George really wanted to hurt the escort, or whether he just wanted to make him cry.

Teacher Arrested For Possession of Drugs, Terrible Goatee

A highly-praised Wisconsin high school math teacher has been busted by the cops for giving out weed, shrooms, and coke to his former students at his own house parties. No wonder he received a 4.4 on Rate My Teachers...

Roger "Bring the" Payne, is a 47-year-old teach at Wauwatosa East High School in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin... but perhaps his contract will not be renewed following this unfortunate incident. Payne pulled the classic Boy George bonehead move-- he called the cops about a break-in at his home, where he happened to be in possession of marijuana. Double whoops-- they also slapped him with charges of obstruction of justice and drug trafficking.

Somebody ratted out The Roge... and they will pay. Probably a small fine, that is, since the burglar/rat took nothing with him:

The 21-year-old man accused of breaking into Payne's home tells police he partied with Payne often. He alleges the parties included marijuana, mushrooms and cocaine. The 21-year-old thought it was "wrong for a teacher to be partying with former students."

Dude... you're 21 years of age... it's wrong for you to be breaking into people's homes and then narcing on them to the fuzz. And if you think it's wrong for the teacher to have those parties, maybe you shouldn't have partaken in them and called the authorities a long time ago; you would look like so much less of a douchebag if you did.

By the way, we can speak so authoritatively on these matters because we had multiple teachers in high school who used to get us wasted-- and not on Miller High Life, okay? And although these adult males exhibited questionable judgment with regard to our health and safety, they weren't deserving of losing their jobs and going to jail for multiple years either.

If you've been waiting for Janet Jackson to finally dump "longtime love" Jermaine Dupri... well, keep waiting.

Donald Trump sure knows how to pick him. At least when it comes to models. As for co-hosts on his reality show, we have to question the choice of Heather Mills, for any reason.

Boy George can't get a visa. Maybe that's why he wants Obama to be President.

Remember the undiscovered Amazon tribe some annoying photographers in a helicopter discovered? Who was the the reader who called bullshit on it?

When we saw this headline, we were really worried that it was to each other: Identical Twins Wedding. Yeah, uh, the grooms must have been thrilled with each other-- wait, is this my wife your dancing with? I'm not sure, they're both in white wedding dresses. Oh well, you have this one for life, I'll run off with the other one... etc. etc.

The worst story of the week, for sure. But we hadn't heard about the 50-100 adults who were watching the alleged sex shows performed by five-year-old's in Texas. We're hoping, based on some sort of bizarre hope for "sanity" that it was just a few creepy "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" type giggling crazies who were behind this. Scary.
