The latest Lifetime Original fairy tale may at first sound similar to How Stella Got Her Groove Back, based on the novel of the same name, about how Stella got her groove back with a young stud while on vacation somewhere tropical. No: this Original Movie, Flirting with Forty, based on the book of the same name, is about how Heather Locklear's character Jackie got her groove back with a young stud while on vacation in Hawaii.

* Heather meets a 27-year-old surf instructor in Hawaii who is handsome, sensitive, charming, supportive, loves kids, speaks French, is psychic, has ripped washboard abs, has hair unbleached by the sun, and never utters a syllable of bro-bra surfer speak.
* Heather's character's daughter --who is like seven years old-- worries aloud that Heather Locklear's character is settling for someone not good enough for her.
* Heather's ex is played by Cameron Bancroft, aka Joe "Joe Loves Donna" Bradley of Beverly Hills 90210 fame.
* Heather Locklear probably would have aged well, but she opted to fight nature with lip implants, breast implants, and other work, making her look weird in all the promotional stills. Wait, that part isn't laughable.
* The fact that I missed the first half-hour of Sunday's premiere of this movie and then watched the part I'd missed when it reran on Monday evening.

5. If These Walls Could Talk 2. This sweeping lesbian love saga was a bit too Lifetime Movie Of The Week for our tastes, but the Emmy voters loved it: in addition to giving a Best Supporting Actress statue to Vanessa Redgrave, voters awarded this HBO sequel with three other nominations in leading categories, including Best Made For Television Film. Not only is it a strong and passionate artistic achievement, there are, of course, many sexy moments: from Chloe Sevigny and Michelle Williams making out in front of a stunned male neighbor to Sharon Stone and Ellen Degeneres exploring every inch of each other. We mentioned this film and the Sevigny-Williams sex scene in an unrelated post on Friday, with the post and NSFW clip here.

4. Mulholland Drive. When we went to a New Orleans Film Festival advance screening of this film, people were leaving the theater in droves about midway through. It took us a minute to realize they were all going to the bathroom to play with themselves thanks to the film's unbelievably sexy love scenes between Laura Harring and Naomi Watts. 3. Secretary. This movie could have been subtitled: "Work and other sadomasochistic activities." Maggie Gyllenhaal is spanked, made to crawl on the floor while carrying paper in her teeth, and to fall in love with James Spader. And, more importantly, she enjoys every minute of it. Depsite the ridiculous Sleeping Beauty-esque climax, it's not the least bit surprising this movie rose above the independent pile-on of the early 2000's to become a mainstream DVD smash.

2. Basic Instinct. Can you believe that some moviegoers were unsure who the killer was? SPOILER ALERT: It was Sharon Stone, you bleeding idjits. On a lighter note, the most memorable nude scene in move history almost didn't happen-- after all, it wasn't in Joe Eszterhas's infamous screenplay. And whenever you see Sharon Stone on TV telling you she didn't know the camera was going to be right between her legs? Laugh. [Very NSFW clip follows.]

1. Sex & Lucia. Several of you suggested this film-- as if we could've left it off in our right minds! A lonely writer's craziest fan picks him up in a restaurant, takes him home, and gives him the best sex a human being has ever had, then stays faithful to him even after his untimely death-- while a guy with a huge dick tries to get in her pants. The sexual energy of this film is so unrelenting, it's impossible to watch alone without taking off your clothes. Watching as a couple? Forget about it. It'll take at least three viewings to get through the whole two hours. We don't want to spoil any of the raunch, so here's a trailer instead:

Hot or Not: Heidi Klum Topless in Esquire

Okay, there really isn't much question on this one, is there? We were kind of kidding about the "hot or not" part just to make you click.

In our latest installment of hot topless women on the covers of American magazines, we have Heidi Klum in Esquire. Unfortunately, we are sick to death of all reality shows and, in particular, reality show hosts. Especially ones that are married to Seal, whom we dislike for that song of his we hear every time we're in C-Town with a hangover.

In any case, fans must wonder why these photos are going up online now-- perhaps to celebrate Project Runway's move to-- gulp-- the Lifetime Television Network? Well, if this is the new look of Lifetime, we may finally stop for more than four seconds when we get to it...

We never thought we'd ever say this, ever, but poor Kevin Federline. All he ever wanted in life was to wear dirty wifebeaters and marry a pretty girl and get rich and a little famous for doing not much of anything. Now he's in lock-down mode, protecting his kids from the paparazzi and their crazy mom. We see a Lifetime movie happening any week now, "A Father's Justice, And His Love," perhaps? But the real question is who would play Britney and K-Fed in the story of their lives?
