Perennial loony Sally Kern's latest sneak-attack on civilization was to introduce a bill banning discrimination against students expressing their religion. (Think she's not going to turn a blind eye to any ban on Muslim headdresses in Oklahoma? Thought not.) The Governor of Oklahoma thankfully vetoed the bill,

the Religious Viewpoint Antidiscrimination Act, [which] could trigger "unintended consequences" such as protecting hate speech, Gov. Brad Henry says. [via Gay.com]

The three Lesbo island residents are back with their continued attack on Lesbians everywhere. Who they expect to pay if they win by freak accident is beyond our understanding. Meanwhile, they push on until, inevitably, this dumbass shit gets thrown out of court.

Does John McCain want you to sign an oath to gay-commit to his campaign? It's possible, since the man's favorite group is apparently... try not to scream... Abba. In a rare admission of weakness, he suggested he may change his campaign theme song from "Johnny B. Goode" to "Take A Chance On Me." Take a chance? Isn't he trying to paint Obama as the chancier choice?

By the way, If most gay men love Abba, does this mean McCain's mostly gay?

And speaking of gay commitments, the same lesbian couple, now in their mid-80s (!), who were married in San Francisco in 2004 to kick off that city's gay marriage fight will become the first legal California gay-married partners... after getting married again.

This Week in Gayness: E-Harmony Doesn't Want You

Two lesbian mothers are fighting over custody of thier child; one of them is using an anti-gay law to skewer the court's favor.

This, plus Ewan McGregor, Dita Von Teese, Sally Kern, the anti-gay t-shirt case heads to the Supreme Court, and more... after the jump...

Basically, one woman, Therese Leach, who is not the biological mother of "her" son, is arguing in an Ohio court that a 2001 court-approved agreement between her and her son's mother should be upheld, regardless of the fact that the state passed an anti-gay marriage amendment in January 2005. Lamda Legal, who is defending Ms. Leach, argues that the agreement should not be invalidated merely because gays are not allowed to marry in Ohio. We say to anti-gay activists: "Is this what you intended when your bigoted law was passed? Taxpayer dollars going to waste over a silly fight like this?"

These activists, mainly Christians, should take the words of Wendy Gritter, director of the Christian group New Direction, to their ever-loving hearts:

"I believe we have a long way to go to eradicate hateful and homophobic environments and responses in the Christian community. We have a long way to go to demolish the pervasive hierarchy of sin. And we have a long way to go to counter-act the perpetual sense of shame that many experience due to the reality of their same-gender attraction." [Religious Left]

While we seriously doubt the Bush-approved Supreme Court will do a damn thing in the way of fighting these nutjobs if this case ever turns up on their docket, maybe the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals will see the light:

Attorneys for a student who was punished by Poway High School officials for wearing an anti-gay T-shirt to school are asking a federal appeals court to declare unconstitutional a school policy against offensive speech under which the student was punished. [Gay.blogspot.com]

The problem here is that, while big supporters of every aspect of free speech, in this case, schools are guaranteed by law (and many, many previous court rulings) the right to ask students to remove any items that are distracting to the learning environment. We wholeheartedly support that policy-- although in case like this, we're admittedly biased. (Let's fight these douche's any way we can.)

And although we support the gay community and its right to simply be left alone, we kind of relate to the issue here:

Gay naturists have been granted their own swimming sessions at a public baths – to the fury of families who also use the pool. Several parents have withdrawn their children from lessons there. The gay naturist group, Naked Swim, books the pool and saunas one night every week. [Gay News]

Remember when we said we could kind of relate? We were fucking with you. Would these same people, if faced with an all-black nude swimming session, raise such a fuss? (This is England, not Tennessee, mind you.)

A thousand people with too much time on their hands rallied for Supreme Assface Sally Kern this week. Forget Iran, our next war may be a civil one.

Anybody watch Australian Gladiators? You mean they're multiplying?

E-Harmony, as has been long rumored, hates LGBTs.

And Chelsea Clinton has been seen at various gay bars, courting the queer vote for her she-swears-she's-not-mama. Wouldn't that be great if Chelsea came out during the general election? McCain would win by 200 points.

There were a few things that happened this week that didn't have anything to do with soon-to-be-former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer's high class hooker, but we were all pretty much focused on one thing this week, and her name is Ashley Alexandra Dupre.

Highs:

We were pleasantly surprised by Ashley Alexandra Dupre.

We found out that she is hot, hot, hot.

She tossed his salad. Yup.

She made the cover of the New York Post (hot).

Ill Doctrine made a mash up of Ahsley's "What We Want" and Snoop Dogg's "Sensual Seduction."

Highs That Have Nothing to do With the Spitzer Sex Scandal:

We found a hot picture of Jessica Simpson. And we really, really want to play Big Buck Hunter 2.

We Named That Bush.

We'll see you in Amsterdam. Oh, yes we will.

Lows:

We were all pretty surprised when the news first broke that Spitzer had dropped thousands on a prostitute.

We decided this whole Spitzer ordeal would be so much better if he'd just plain old cheated on his wife. Or legalized prostitution when he had the chance.

Of course, he resigned.

Lows That Have Nothing to do With the Spitzer Sex Scandal:

Britney Spear's cartoon video. Meh.

A woman stayed on the toilet for two years. Which made us fall in love with our expensive toilet paper all over again.

This Week in Gayness: Sally Kern Strikes Back

Rumors are swirling that Sally Kern, outed as a homo-hater by our own Katie Halper, is taking her problems out on the gays to get back at her own son...

BGay.com has the brief story on Kern, the anti-civil rights lawmaker who has crusaded against all things unholy and fantabulous, has disowned her gay son Jesse. No word on which came first-- her hatred of the gays or finding out her son was born "different."

Sally Kern Speaks Truth To Gay-Terrorist Power

The liberal, gay, secularist, vegan media has it's panties all up in a bunch over a leaked youtube video of Oklahoma state rep by day, freedom speech activist by night, Sally Kern. Kern delivered a free speech privately (she thought) to a group of Republicans:

[homosexuality] according to God's word, that is not the right kind of lifestyle. It has deadly consequences for those people involved in it.... [they] have more suicides… there's more illness, their life spans are shorter… studies show that no society that has totally embraced homosexuality has lasted more than, you know, a few decades.This stuff—it's deadly and it's spreading, and it will destroy our young people. It will destroy this nation. Not everybody's lifestyle is equal, just like not all religions are equal.

Kern explained that homosexuality is even a bigger threat than, "terrorism or Islam, which I think is a big threat." The speech was leaked and sent around on youtube.

Kern is just the latest victim of the homosexual agenda which runs the media, this country, and the universe. As usual, as Kern rightly points out in a post-leak interview, the homosexuals are trying to take away people's rights to free speech and privacy. "There are indisputable facts that show its a deadly lifestyle... What is wrong with me, as an American, exercising my free speech rights?" Amen!

Besides, Kern's words were distorted and taken out of context. Kern herself explains "I am totally against hate speech.... The account given on YouTube took my words out of context and omitted other parts stringing certain words together to make it appear I was engaging in hate speech. I was not and would never do such a thing." The context that was omitted was Kern's preface that "some of my best friends are gay."

So, now watch the video, taking this omission into account. If you're looking for homophobic hate speech, I'm afraid you will be disappointed. But if you are looking for an American freedom-fighter, standing up for free speech, you're in for a treat!
