As much as we enjoy reading the tawdry British rags (i.e., mostly looking at photos), we suspect The Daily Mail might just be making this one up for ultimate titllation: Lindsay Lohan, and Samantha Ronson, sexy "lady" lesbians, fighting, each other, in an alleyway.

The pair rang in the new year by hosting a party at the Miami nighclub Mansion, until the latest fracas began as seen in this video. One viewer interpreted LiLo's rage was over Sam's selection of a Britney Spears song. (So like, is that the kind of stuff she plays as a professional DJ? Hm.)

The duo then took it outside nearby alley.

"When I storm off, you are supposed to follow me!"' a "source" claims Lindsay screeched at Sam.

The beatdown continued later in their hotel room, which they reportedly trashed.

Here's the best part, though, as quoted from a source in The New York Post via The Daily Mail: "It was a really gross alley. There was a bum [tramp] eating a sandwich watching the whole thing."

Lesson for the New Year: bum = tramp in England.

According to Michael Wolff, MySpace is so over. Though we can't quite bring ourselves to bury our profile next to the Friendster grave, we knew that a long time ago. But it seems Lindsay Lohan just got the memo. What does this mean for the world? Well, for one, maybe she won't be posting so many newsworthy MySpace blog posts and two, maybe she'll be our friend on Facebook.

If the rumor mill is right (and when is it not?) Lilo is posting on the "Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson" group on Facebook under the pseudonym "Bella Vita" and she would like you to know that she and Sam are not breaking up.

With the subject line "not breaking up" one Miss Vita posted the following message:

"Tabloids and people tell lies- they always wanna see everything and anything good come to an end. duh"

Sounds like Lindsay to us.

We think this is the group in question. We'd join to see the post for ourselves, but we don't want our friends to see that shit.

If you ask us, the real news item here is that anyone believed all this Lindsay goes to rehab, sobers up crap in the first place. We have nothing bad to say about genuine treatment for addiction. But for the dirty, lowdown on celebrity rehab center Wonderland, we direct you to Amanda Fortini's profile of the facility in this week's New Yorker. In the first paragraph we learn that Howard Samuels, executive director of the Wonderland center has a publicist. Not surprising, except his publicist is Cathy Griffin, a woman who "spent thirty years covering celebrities as a journalist for, among other outlets, “Hard Copy” and “A Current Affair.”" She also happens to be "Liz Smith’s “West Coast legwoman.”"

Now, why would a celebrity like Lindsay Lohan go to a rehab facility where the operators feed information directly to gossip mills?

Hmmm.

It's too bad sobriety and heterosexuality are just not interesting to US Weekly readers. Or us, for that matter. But in the interest of supporting healthy lifestyles and good decision-making send us a clip of Lindsay playing with abandoned puppies or walking old ladies across busy intersections. We will totally eat up those publicity stunts, too.

Either one is cool with us, but in a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, Lohan insisted that she's not a lesbian, but admitted she's dating a "wonderful" woman. She's madly in love, she says, and pointed out that "it's pretty obvious who I'm dating" though she refused to name her girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

So, is she bisexual? "Maybe. Yeah."

The other night, an NBC affiliate in Los Angeles interrupted Conan to run a story about a John McCain speech.

Speaking of the McCain campaign, turns out they lied in a press release over the weekend saying campaign manager/lobbyist Rick Davis was no longer connected to Freddie Mac and hadn't been for several years. Turns out he was receiving $15,000 a month from them up until their recent collapse.

Clay Aiken finally came out of the closet:

Following the Aug. 8 birth of his son Parker, singer Clay Aiken is following through on a promise he made to himself as a new dad: to publicly acknowledge that he's gay.

"It was the first decision I made as a father," Aiken, 29, tells the upcoming issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday. "I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn't raised that way, and I'm not going to raise a child to do that."

Lindsay Lohan confirmed that she's in a long-term relationship with Samantha Ronson. She also, it seems to us, says "shit" live on air.

Don't cry for Dennis Quaid-- Meg Ryan wasn't the only one unfaithful in that relationship.

Are Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson the next Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins?

Last week, the couple made sure we took a few minutes to recognize the seventh anniversary of September 11, and yesterday, Lilo and Sam posted a joint MySpace blog post ranting on the GOP veep nominee, Sarah Palin.

I really cannot bite my tongue anymore when it comes to Sarah Palin.

I couldn't be more supportive of a woman in office, but let's face it, it comes down to the person, and their beliefs, male or female.

Is it a sin to be gay? Should it be a sin to be straight? Or to use birth control? Or to have sex before marriage? Or even to have a child out of wedlock?

I find it quite interesting that a woman who now is running to be second in command of the United States, only 4 years ago had aspirations to be a television anchor. Which is probably all she is qualified to be... Also interesting that she got her passport in 2006.. And that she is not fond of environmental protection considering she's FOR drilling for oil in some of our protected land.... Well hey, if she wants to drill for oil, she should DO IT IN HER OWN backyard. This really shows me her complete lack of real preparation to become the second most powerful person in this country.

Hmmmm-All of this gets me going-Fear, Anxiety, Concern, Disappointment, and Stress come into play...

Is our country so divided that the Republicans best hope is a narrow minded, media obsessed homophobe?

I know that the most important thing about this election is that people need to exercise their right to vote, regardless of their choice... I would have liked to have remained impartial, however I am afraid that the "lipstick on a pig" comments will overshadow the issues and the fact that I believe Barack Obama is the best choice, in this election, for president...

Palin's Desire to "save and convert the gays"-really??

According to this Associated Press story, the church of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is hosting a kind of conference devoted to the "conversion of Gays" -- no kidding.

Here's the AP text:

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) ? Gov. Sarah Palin's church is promoting a conference that promises to convert gays into heterosexuals through the power of prayer.

You'll be encouraged by the power of God's love and His desire to transform the lives of those impacted by homosexuality," according to the insert in the bulletin of the Wasilla Bible Church, where Palin has prayed since she was a child.

Palin's conservative Christian views have energized that part of the GOP electorate, which was lukewarm to John McCain's candidacy before he named her as his vice presidential choice. She is staunchly anti-abortion, opposing exceptions for rape and incest, and opposes gay marriage and spousal rights for gay couples.

I feel it's necessary for me to clarify that I am not against Sarah Palin as a mother or woman.

Women have come a long way in the fight to have the choice over what we do with our bodies... And its frightening to see that a woman in 2008 would negate all of that.

Oh, and...Hint Hint Pali Pal- Don't pose for anymore tabloid covers, you're not a celebrity, you're running for office to represent our, your, my COUNTRY!

Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan recently got tattoos together. Did they go for literal tattoos, like each other's names tattooed on their hips, or did they opt for something a little more symbolic?

Luckily, the ladies took the smarter route, getting symbolic, yet matching, tats:

"Samantha has a bunch of stars, so I got that," Lohan, referring to a star tattoo on her hand, tells Marie Claire in their October issue. Then, pointing to a little heart, she says, "she got this."
"I'm really happy," Lohan says, suggesting that Ronson has been a positive force in her life. "She's a great person. And she's a great influence on people around her. But I think that anything that's changed [in] my life is because of me. I've gone through it, and I've learned to deal with it and I've made the decision to move forward."

A sign of true love, folks. Hell, we have another girl's name tattooed on our forearm.

Of course, that girl is our little sister, but still.

Love her or hate her, Lindsay Lohan still has the best boobs in Hollywood, or at least the best cleavage. And as you can see, Lindsay's 15-year-old boyfriend, Sam Ronson thinks so too. Now that's one lucky kid. Could you imagine still being in High School, and getting to date Lindsay Lohan? I think it's every young boy's dream.

Har har. The real story is that Lindsay and Samantha Ronson (who is actually a 31-year-old female DJ from Los Angeles, despite these cheap jokes) were in Bryant Park for Fashion Week, where news reports of an impending marriage have them avoiding the press. More importantly, there are the beginnings of lesbian baby reports:

British newspaper The News of The World claims the Mean Girls actress has approached one of her former boyfriends to help with the conception. A source close to Lindsay tells the paper, "Lindsay is in a very happy place at the moment. She's been having deep discussions about a baby.
"She wants a natural birth and has spoken to Sam about getting one of her ex-boyfriend's to help out. They don't want to adopt." [News.au.com]

Disappointingly, this "source" (of bullshit) doesn't know or won't say who the ex is. But whoever it is, they are sure to say yes... they'll say yes to anything while lost in Lindsay's #1 boobs...

San Diego Harbor Police were ruled to have committed a homicide in the death of a gay man on a pride cruise in July.

The Governor of Louisiana, Bobby Jindal (R), is letting protections for gay and lesbian workers expire:

"I don't think it is necessary to create additional special categories or special rights," Jindal told reporters Wednesday. State and federal law already prohibits discrimination, he said.

If the state already protects those rights, as you claim, then why did everyone except you feel it was necessary to implement them? Scumbag.

Gays will be banned from taking in foster kids under a law likely to pass in Arkansas.

A woman was ejected from a Federal building in LA, where she had gone to pick up her son's social security card, after a guard objected to her shirt, which read: "lesbian.com."

And Michael Lohan, ever Lindsay's hero, says his daughter should break up with Sam Ronson because the DJ is a user:

A source tells Eonline, "She's certainly telling friends she's planning to write a book. It's supposed to be about her, allegedly. But come on, you know Lindsay will be all over that book. She's the only one people want to read about."
And the rumours have infuriated Lohan's father, who claims the DJ is just using his daughter to get her own slice of fame.
He says, "I've shut up about this long enough. She's using my daughter. People never even knew who Samantha Ronson was until she met Lindsay. She was just some Los Angeles DJ. And now she's writing a book?
"Let's just say I hope Lindsay starts opening her eyes and realises who the people using her are."

And it has nothing to do with the fact that we're pretty sure she's in a happy lesbian relationship, because lesbians can totally pleasure each other on their knees.

No, no. It's because, well...

...well, we kind-of like Lindsay now. In fact, no, we really like her.

Maybe part of it is that we feel sorry for her because her family is insane and terrible, and maybe it's also because now that she seems to be in a happy relationship, she seems more likable.

But, we still hate the leggings.

The style is called "Mr. President" (you'll never guess who inspired them) and they cost $132.

We are laughing at the leggings. Not Lindsay.
