It's too early to decide whether Sarah Palin will stand up to srutiny. She's probably going to do better than most people think. But it's a big test for her to pass.

I don't think that McCain-Palin will win for the following reason. McCain has recovered not from one but from two malignant melanomas. That's two miracles for him and third time is not is not necessarily a charm. Most people will think that Palin will thus become president some time in the next four years if the McCain-Palin ticket is elected.

That's a lot of pressure to put her under.

Damn do you folks ever leave NYC or what!

This lady is big medicine she is both solidifying the right and bringing in the independent middle especially independent and right leaning women in the middle and PUMA democrats (both female and male).

There are a lot of folks who are going to vote for the republican ticket just because Sarah is a hunter and NRA Life member (me for example).

I just caught part of her speech. She sounds too much like the mom from "That 70's Show". She also admits she smells like fish during the summer. Only plus, her nickname is "barracuda". Nice pick, Crazy Mac!

The information out there doesn't really support the fact that Hillary supporters are moving towards McCain in absurd numbers. I don't think most supporters can vote for Hillary, then turn around and vote for someone as fanatical as Palin. If anything, it takes away from any appeal that McCain had, beyond a token vote for any woman.
