&lt;p&gt;My favorite non-visual hack was a change to the &amp;quot;you've reached a non-working number at MIT&amp;quot; outgoing phone message. &amp;nbsp;The replacement was, &amp;quot;The MIT number you have dialed is imaginary. &amp;nbsp;Please multiply by i and dial again.&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
