The woman has a successful TV job and the guy is unemployed. The woman is mature and sometimes self-confident, while the guy is a little shit who acts like an idiot until very close to the end of the film. And so on. But I see both points...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;...and don't care because it's a comedy classic. There hasn't been a better comedy in almost a decade and maybe even in longer.&lt;/p&gt;
