My grandmother did a similar thing to my dad when he was a kid--they were traveling in England and my dad, being a little boy, was running around outside and roughhousing. So my grandmother greeted him with a big, cold glass of cider, unaware that cider in the UK is an alcoholic beverage. My dad chugged it all at once and felt a little dizzy, my grandmother realized her mistake with dismay, and sent him to take a nap and sleep it off. No harm done. It became a cute family story and nothing more.&lt;/p&gt;
