His filmmaking technique is crap, but he has a damn good handle on the ins and outs of passive aggression, and I think that last shot shows that he has zero sympathy for his ostensible protagonists.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Duplass Bros, however, still need to be beaten with a sock full of quarters. &lt;/p&gt;
