No! I have been a fan of Todd Haynes/Christine Vachon since Safe, but this movie did not live up to my expectations. Granted, Blanchett was amazing as usual, but I found the pacing and multi-character approach distracting. All I wanted to see was more of Cate's portrayal. Nice reference to 8 1/2, but I have a feeling There will be Blood will take my top spot after this weekend.</p>
