Back when were Scanner-blogging, we wrote about how thoroughly disappointed we were with the above clip. Not that we were ever expecting much substance or erotic value in a shower scene from NYPD Blue. More like "Seriously? That piece of crap cheesecake shot's costing ABC 1.5 million bucks?"
Well, sadly, we've got to haul this sucker out of storage and throw it up on the web today, because damned if the other networks haven't banded together to fight the FCC's fine, filing intervenor briefs on the side of ABC as the case makes it way through the appeal courts, claiming -- probably correctly -- that all the complaints filed against the scene were from activist groups.
As always, we stand firmly in support of pretty much anyone looking to get nudity on the airwaves after 10PM; we just wish it was nudity that we liked.
