So "Washed-up Terrorist" Bill Ayers emerged on Good Morning America, doing an interview with Chris Cuomo, and he sure did sound pretty radical, saying
What you call the violent past, that was a time when thousands of people were being murdered every month by our own government. ... We were on the right side...The content of the Vietnam protest is that there were despicable acts going on, but the despicable acts were being done by our government. ... I never hurt or killed anyone...Frankly, I don't think we did enough, just as today I don't think we've done enough to stop these wars.
Fight The Power! You may notice all the ellipses -- that's because, in between, he was down on his knees, praying for forgiveness. Just kidding. Well, now we see why Ayers kept himself quiet until after the election, in the interest of getting his BFF Obama bin Hippie elected President. (Actually, both Obama and Ayers describe the Professor/former Weather Underground member as "just a guy around the neighborhood." Which, in Chicago, we thought meant "gangster," so who knows what's going on there, huh?)
So, did all that proxy-demonizing of Obama through Ayers (and, before that, Jeremiah Wright) do much to stop the "radical" agendas threatening "The Uhmmerican Way Of Life?" Well, Ayers rushed in a new afterword to a new paperback run of his book Fugitive Days, and the money's sure to roll in. So no.
