"Sex and The City" Sequel: Mr. Big is Back!

Posted by Olivia Purnell

Sex and The City fans rejoice! Chris Noth is on board. Sarah Jessica Parker, overlord of all things SATC, said so.

SJP also commented on Gilles Marini's involvement in the project. Turns out she could give less of a shit about that shirtless dancing fool.

When asked about Gilles, Sarah told eonline.com:

"I don't have a clue," Parker said. "I don't know anything specific about a story for him, but it's very possible."

That is Sarah Jessica code for who the fuck cares.

We have to admit SJ, we care a little. Isn't Mr. Big's storyline pretty much over. Big and Carrie have been through the relationship ringer. We followed them through the six season break-up-make-up spin cycle. We watched two hours of Carrie Bradshaw's matrimonial angst. And they did it! They got married! Do we really need more Big drama? If they get divorced, we may walk out of the theater. Really. We have had enough.

Gilles on the other hand, that bare-chested hunk of man. We have not seen nearly enough of his pectoral muscles.

Hell-to-the-no.

I can never have enough Big. That's like saying you can have enough Darcy.

Pssh.

Lindy Parker has worked as a ghostwriter, editor, dance instructor and a purveyor of dreams, one beer at a time. She loves Charles Dickens and Gabriel Garcia Marquez and also, straight-to-video releases with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. It's possible she reads more teen fiction than she should. She hails from Los Angeles, her hometown and soul mate, but she lives in Brooklyn, the fling she'll never forget.

Olivia Purnell left Ohio for sunny Los Angeles; then found that she couldn’t ignore New York City’s call, and brought herself to Brooklyn where she has worked with GenArt, BlackBook, the School of American Ballet, and finished an M.A. in Creative Writing from N.Y.U. She loves one-liners with sting and hates the stench of the subway in the summer. That said, she can’t get enough of either.
