  We've always kind of enjoyed The Closer....Okay, that's a lie, we hardly ever watch it, but when we do, it's usually because we love Kyra Sedgwick.  This, it turns out, is something we have in common with Amy Sedaris, whom we also love.  Apparently, our shared love of Kyra, has motivated Sedaris to take a turn on The Closer as the psychic sister of Sedgwick's onscreen fiancé -- if we've learned nothing else from The Mentalist and Psych, it's that pseudo-psychics are always helpful in law enforcement. • Amy Sedaris wants to “Make ‘Em Laugh”

  Ooooh, we love Amy Sedaris. Her appearances on David Letterman are the stuff of dreams. She has a magic, no? While we are still anxiously awaiting Sedaris’ new TV project, our Amy is taking part in the PBS series Make ‘Em Laugh: The Funny Business of America. It’s a six-installment documentary airing this January that “explores the currents of American comedy throughout a century of social and political change” (pbs.com) Besides the whole ‘thought provoking television’ shtick that PBS is so keen on, we also love the fact Billy Crystal will introduce each episode while the fabulous Ms. Sedaris narrates. • Sedaris is Back, Bitches!

  Listen, we love the ladies of comedy.  If you hadn’t noticed, we’ve had raunchy Sarah Silverman and Palin-perfect Tina Fey on the brain lately.  At a time of economic distress and political upheaval (read: oh shit we have no money and don’t understand why), these two women have soothed us with their acerbic one-liners and their dirty judgy jokes.  Their election comedy has really eased the hearts and minds of the American people.  But despite that . . . something has been missing.  We’ve been longing for the perfect combo of Silverman’s vulgar antics and Fey’s knowing wit.  Who could fill that void? Amy Sedaris, that’s who!   She’s been away from the blinding glare of the spotlight for a while; so we’ve included a picture of her boobs above, in case you forgot what they looked like.  Apparently, Sedaris and her breasts will be returning to television soon!
