If you are to believe the New York Post's Page Six, former CSI star Gary Dourdan -- whose character Warrick Brown was (spoiler alert!) shot at point blank range and, we had thought, died a bloody and irrevocable death in this season's closer -- has been rehired by the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced procedural. Did producers take pity on the actor, who got busted for posession of coke, ecstasy, and heroin within days of filming his last scenes on the show -- but who in May avoided jail time by pleading guilty to two of three charges, thus leaving him free (and eager) to come to work sober?
Hard to say, because this is the first we've heard of it, and indeed, nothing on the rehiring turns up in a Google search. So, the question becomes: does Page Six know something we don't?
