It's
been a quite some time since Homer Simpson became "Dancin' Homer,"
mascot for the Springfield Isotopes minor-league baseball team. But a
mascot's life is not an easy one -- as four people recently learned
when they had to don enormous Simpsons costumes so "Homer" could throw
out the first pitch at a real-life Dodgers game.
It all had something to do
with promoting the new Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood
theme park. (And if you have a problem with that kind of crass
