
Season 2 of VH1's Celebrity Rehab
won't start airing till October. But reports are already emerging
that the biggest troublemaker in the Southern California recovery
center this time around isn't one of the famous addicts, but "mentor"
Gary Busey.
The eccentric star of The Buddy Holly Story
and dozens of other films, who claims 13 years of sobriety himself, was
brought in to help counsel his famous brethren as they attempt to give
up drugs and alcohol. But according to a Rehab staffer who spoke to the New York Post,
Busey "frequently clashed with his costars during group therapy." At
one point, the article alleges, "Busey's altercations with the rest of
the cast became so intense, he
and another celebrity rehabber had to be physically separated."
