It's one thing to skip out on a presidential debate
using the economy as an excuse. But as the video below demonstrates,
it's something else entirely to cancel a serious event, like
an appearance on a late-night talk show.
But that's exactly what
Senator John McCain did to David Letterman last night, leaving viewers to face the wrath of a comedian scorned. Dave was especially
p.o.'d because McCain had claimed he was canceling at the last minute
in order to deal with the economic crisis back in Washington, D.C., but in fact ended up doing an
interview with Katie Couric right down the street in New York City.
