We are firmly aboard the Britney Spears comeback train. There was a
disastrous period of time (read: most of 2005, all of 2006, and the
especially regrettable year 2007) in which every time we saw Brit we
just wanted to sit her down, comb her hair, and fire whoever let her
out of the house looking like that.
These days she is looking
damn fine. She’s dressing more like a pop star and less like a
disheveled teen on a perpetual walk of shame. She’s making appearances
that don’t make us yell at the TV screen. She’s got a couple of
club-bangers out on the radio that are ridiculously catchy. And the
music videos for said bangers, "Womanizer" and "Circus," are the
hotness.
Apparently er’body is not as happy with her videos as
we are. PETA has got some shit to say about Britney’s sexy little
circus . . .
