On the list of people we wouldn't want to see at a pool party, Brody Jenner and Joel Madden are right near the top. However, show us Queen Latifah, Lance Bass, and a margarita and we are in there like swimwear. Apparently, the folks at Funny or Die are totally with us on this...

Hard to believe Kim Kardash didn't get in on this action. Our favorite quote: "You smell just like a waffle." Ha. Even funnier than V.Hudge getting all shrill about poop.

Rumor Mill: Nicole Richie on "Gossip Girl"?

We're just going to go ahead and say it: we kind of like Nicole Richie. We like the oversized sunglasses, and the rosary tattoo. Even on The Simple Life -- a show we couldn't stand because we loathe Paris Hilton with a deep, albeit irrational, loathing -- we still thought Nicole was kind of funny. And sometimes, now that she's ditched those guano crazy hair extensions, she takes a break from the parade of skinny jeans and ballet flats and gives us a fun, fabulous fashion surprise...

We love those tomato red shoes with the white and silver dress -- we almost don't notice that she's uncomfortably skinny. But enough about us. Let's talk about this rumor that La Richie might be stopping by the Upper East Side to offer Serena Van der Woodsen a little advice on shaking off the dust of her wild child days. According to E!, that visit won't be happening any time soon.

Maybe, she, Joel and Harlow should do a Tori-and-Dean style reality show instead? We're just putting it out there...

Lionel Richie’s New “Endless Love”

In addition to being the only cool man on the planet with a jheri curl, Lionel Richie is also a proud Grandpa. He tells people.com that he calls Nicole Richie’s 10-month-old daughter Harlow “The Mouse.” Cute! Lionel is also amazed at how Nicole has grown from her Simple Life days of self-absorbtion and partying into motherhood. We’re impressed too. Wait-to step up to the mom plate, girl.

We’ve heard that Nicole is looking for new projects and Grandpa is back in the studio (oh yes, more Lionel Richie slow jams will be coming your way in the near future). As such, we’d like to suggest that these too try a little television duet . . .

Maybe a children’s show. The Richie’s program would be like PeeWee’s Playhouse but with less weirdness . . . or like Mr. Rogers but with more weirdness.

Nicole could begin every episode by changing into her afternoon look (read: extra large granny glasses, an Hermes bag, and a venti Starbucks cup), and saying, “Welcome to the Richie’s neighborhood, bitches.” Together, the Richies would teach us a word of the day, talk to their furniture, and deliver lessons on kindness and maybe basic mathematics. Of course at the end of every ep, Lionel would sing “Dancing on the Ceiling.”

Genius, right? Listen, this brilliant idea is free, but after this we’re gonna have to start charging.

Come and Get Some Juicy "Chuck" Spoilers

Executive Producer Josh Schwartz just gave Chicago Tribune TV critic Maureen Ryan a bunch of scoops about the spy comedy's new season, from a 3-D episode to meeting Captain Awesome's mom. Here's what's coming up on Chuck:

-- In the big Christmas episode, some guy will hold everyone hostage in the Buy More.

-- Arrested Development's Tony Hale will play the Buy More's new assistant manager.

-- The episode that airs right after the Super Bowl will be broadcast in 3-D.

-- Captain Awesome's parents will be played by Morgan Fairchild and Bruce Boxleitner, which sounds about right.

-- Ellie and Awesome will prepare for their wedding (whether it actually happens or not, we don't know).

-- We'll also meet Sarah's dad, played by the great Gary Cole.

-- As we mentioned a while ago, Jordana Brewster will play Chuck's ex-girlfriend, Jill -- the one who cheated on him with frenemy-turned-fellow agent Bryce, who's also back this season.

-- Other various good guys and bad guys will be played by John Larroquette, Michael Clarke Duncan, The O.C.'s Melinda Clarke, and somebody named Nicole Richie.

The new season starts September 29.
