When I graduated from college, I decided to travel through Europe on a Eurail pass. Everyone else was doing it, so it seemed like the thing to do. I didn't know that my visit would coincide with a massive transit strike. I was effectively trapped; my Eurail pass was worthless. I was wasting some time in a café in Paris, a little dejected, and I noticed Helmut Newton was there. Not long after that, a female fan came up to his table with over-the-top declarations of love for him. I could just make out their conversation in French. She actually said the words I would do anything for you to take my picture. Dryly, Helmut told her to take off her clothes. She laughed and eventually demurred, saying she couldn’t possibly do that. He persisted, then pulled a tiny point-and-shoot camera from his breast pocket and said, "Take off your clothes and sit on top of that table." Which she did. The entire place was awestruck.
