What's the best reason to date someone with a large Twitter following?
There is absolutely no good reason to date someone with a large Twitter following as far as I can tell. Same goes for someone with a small Twitter following. Dating is a dangerous proposition any way you look at it.

What do I do about all these one night stands that want to friend me on Facebook or follow me on Twitter?
Inform them that they were one night stands. That ought to achieve the results you seek.
