What's the best reason to date a World of Warcraft player?
Their incredible attention to detail. Since a World of Warcraft player has to do dozens of quests, has to know the roles of ten to twenty-five other players in battle, and be completely prepared for every raid, it's rare that a World of Warcraft player will forget a birthday, anniversary, first date, hair appointment, etc.
What has World of Warcraft taught you about dating?
The value of compromise, in game and out. In game you learn that sometimes you need to put the priorities of others above yourself, like if you're raiding and another healer needs a new piece of equipment that would only be a small upgrade for you. Out of game, you need to work with your significant other so that you have time to raid and also to spend time with them.
What's the best way to ask a fellow player out in real life, without coming off weird?
I've always felt the best way to ask someone out, in game or not, is to try and keep it casual. "Asking milady for her company" is always going to be awkward. If you've gotten friendly with someone in game, it should be easy to suggest meeting up in the real world — like meeting up for a night of Mario Kart, since you already know you both enjoy gaming.
I peeked at my boyfriend's phone when he wasn't looking, and saw that he still gets a lot of texts from his ex, even though he promised me they never keep in touch. How should I address this situation?
I feel like this depends on what the text situation is. If they're getting all hot and heavy over the texts, then you should speak up. On the other hand, if it's just his ex being clingy and he's not responding, then you should let it slide. Sometimes a guy would rather avoid the issue then explain to you every time his phone buzzes.
There are tons of crazy photos of my girlfriend on Facebook of her from her college days, and it makes me really uncomfortable to see all those pictures out there. It sounds possessive, but I don't want them on the internet anymore. How do I deal with this?
This is something you can totally bring up to her. She may even have forgotten that some of those pictures are still hanging around and would want to get rid of them herself. Just want to warn her that more and more employers are looking at prospective hires' Facebook pages. Nobody wants to lose out on a job because of some drunken college pictures.

This article is bullshit and Nerve.com paid ringers to fake it. I work in the video game industry and all the WoW players who fired up the game on their terminals during their lunch breaks, even the ones who go home to their WoW wives, are not people I'd trust with advice on my sex life.
Totally true about how someone's deep-seated vices come out during play. I dated a WoW player who had like 15 levels on me. Wouldn't even throw me a scrap to help out. He'd also buy high end electronics and charge the bills to his dad's company for himself (mice, joysticks, monitors, HDs) and would "forget" to get me anything.

The guy who's worried about it being too soon might be worried because of the idea that there's a timeline when such things ought to be done and if one does not adhere to it something is wrong. I think this is an unfortunate state of affairs because all people and all relationships are different.

the very sad thing is that many have made fun of WoW players and say we dont have sex. the sader thing is they must have less time than us off of the computer because they take the time to stalk us and read our articles just to talk shit to us. so who is worse??? the one who likes a relaxation from real life or the idiot who doesnt understand it and spends all their time in envy of us?
