I found lipstick on my boyfriend's collar. He says it's his mom's. How do I know for sure?
If it's a bright color, he's lying. Moms don't wear bright colors. Moms wear neutrals. They wear long-wear lipstick that doesn't come off, because moms don't like messes. Right? Moms don't get near collars with lipstick.

What's the best way to ask a makeup artist out on a date?
I would say eye contact and honesty. We have to do that all the time. We get really personal and in people's faces all the time and give honest opinions. It's not always one-hundred-percent honest. But honesty is always appreciated.

What's the biggest turn-off for you, makeup-wise?
Too much of anything on your face is bad.

Makeup on boys: okay or not? Eyeliner? Foundation?
I think no. Well, eyeliner is okay if it goes with your style. But it's very hard to pull off. It depends on the circumstances too. If you're going to be in pictures, or at a very high-profile event, you can do concealer or a little powder. But nothing on boys for cosmetic vanity — it looks awful.

My boyfriend wants to take some nudie pics of me, but I'd hate for them to fall into the wrong hands. What should I do?
I think the rule i never anything you wouldn't want your parents to see. Make it classy. That way if it falls into the wrong hands, it won't be super-devastating. Or damaging. Go with a tasteful pin-up thing.

Is it ever justifiable to cheat?
Only if your significant other takes those nudie pictures and does something they shouldn't do with them.

Mismatched foundation. Frosted lipstick. Fake tans. Unkempt eyebrows.

It depends on the boy. I can spot shoddy eyeliner from a mile away. The best way to do it is to put it on and then take half of it off. Thick gooey liner looks way too overdone. No foundation in the real world, please.

Doing someone's makeup can be pretty intimate. Ever get the urge to lean in and kiss a customer?
A huge part of my job is oiling people up. Baby oil, body gloss, Vaseline, Pam spray. (Original scent.) I see everyone naked. Sometimes I get a little tingle.

If you trust him and you are into it, do it. It's freeing and if he's a photographer — who isn't? — you can get some amazing shots of your hot body before it all goes south.

Honesty is always best, but not too much honesty. I would never want to know any details or see any photos. I couldn't handle him dating another girl who can't put her eyebrows on right.
