Dear reader,

As you can see, we've done some remodeling around here. It's spring, and all that old design was getting musty, y'know?

Nerve's got a lot of history (twelve years is an eternity in internet time), and there's a ton of material that's been hard to find since it went up. In recent months, we've talked a lot about ways to make the site more organized, and easier to use. Starting today, we'll be gradually converting a giant pile of awesome into a lovingly curated archive of awesome.

We'll also be adding regular articles of awesome on a daily basis, some of them traditional, some of them wholly new in form. And some much-loved classic columns will be making a reappearance: most notably, I Did It For Science — perhaps our most popular feature ever — will return in all-new installments starting this month.

Some other changes: comments now appear on article pages, so your peers will have a harder time ignoring you. And we welcome a new blog, Tools of Attraction, which examines products that'll make you a sexier Nerve reader. (But you're already looking pretty good, you little minx.)

This is a work in progress. (On that note, if you happen to click on something that blows up the internet, let us know — email editors@nerve.com.) Stay tuned for many updates; in the meantime, we hope you'll excuse any dust we've kicked up. We've been spending a lot of time in Nerve's attic, digging through some of our best work and brushing up our favorite stuff to bring downstairs. It's an exciting time here, and we're so delighted to share it with readers as discerning and enthusiastic as you. To a glorious future!
