I can't say I've liked every one of his films, but I am a fan because there are visuals that will never leave me. Particularly, the bird hunt scene in "The Devils" or Ann Margaret covered in baked beans in "Tommy"
"Salome's Last Dance" is still one of my favorites for all of it's visual splendor.
I still hope they will release the full uncut version of "The Devils" on DVD
