Crisp writing, clear detail. Reminds me of Anne Mcaffrey or Mercedes Lackey--more fantasy than science fiction, same tone. Would enjoy reading more.

I looked up this word "Carytids" in Oxford Dictionary,and i must say -Thanks for teaching me a new word.Of course i may sound a little self depricating and seem not so smart - but hey i'm no 'George Bush' but i'm okey- in some degree of denial.
I must also add- since i said much already- your piece was erotic- So erotic that i almost thought of an instant idea.How about Hollywood make a Transvestite Matrix.I bet 'Petra' could kick some A$$!

Absolutely outstanding bit of work. I read quite a bit of SF and this reminds me a little of where Greg Bear is either afraid to go, or can't get past the publisher.
