WOW!....was never either of them but relate to both...want this to be a serial...already anticipating part II and III and so forth. If this is it...dayumm what a tease. Made me remember my first effort at sex. I laid on the ground legs open, he stood and stared. Finally I said.."dont just stand there do something." He left...LOL kudos...MORE MORE MORE. my best....................karyn

What a beautiful story! The longing for a co-conspirator; the incommensurability of co-conspirators and their dreams and goals. The washed-out skies of times in flux. The combination of psychological and physical detail is acute, astute and aching.

What a piece of art. Finely crafted work, every turn, every line. What emotion it elicits, what a world it paints. I am taken aback. It seems like just what I needed to read at just the right time in my life. And yet it's just a story. Damn. That's tight. Nice job, Carver. Nice one.

You can tell from the beginning that it's about a wonderful friendship that you never get comfortable with, because you know it's going to be over by the end of the story. Well-written and entertaining, if a little predictable.

I like your other stuff more. The relationship felt too cliched and needed more of your original touch.

It's so nice seeing something by you on Nerve. The story was absolutely wonderful.

Lisa Carver, how grand to have your tightly colored twisted and bitter sweet words in my head again. I missed you!
