This is not good; this is brilliant. I couldn't even think about what I was reading, for the reading itself left no room for other thoughts. Captivating, depressing, and at the same time possessing a gritty, sexy, realism.

another FANTASTIC piece of writing! wow. 'seamless' is an excellent choice of words to describe the authors voice. _amazing_. and i could relate to the story on so many personal levels... wow. perhaps its just me, but it seems that lately the editors of nerve° have been giving us some really spectacular writing.

Brilliant! I felt as though I was observing the characters lives through my own self induced codeine haze.

And wow again. The most brilliant piece of writing I have seen, anywhere, in quite some time. The smooth flow of the narrative was absolutely enthralling, and the use of second person was indeed brilliant. Right from the second paragraph I felt like I was hooked on codeine myself, but it was just the writer's amazing style. More! More!

what an exotic ride along the culture clash lines of modern Britain. The gradual unfolding of the main character into her assimilated state was flawless. Also I enjoyed walking in the racially, and ethically, confused skin of the speaker, which was made more plausible to me by the wonderful use of second person narrative.
