Wow! I think Sam Lipsyte's FFF, cleverly and so well, encapsulates the whole experience of growing up male. He touches many elements common to us all. There's much truth in it. I'm not certain that many females, though they be amused, could read FFF and understand where it's coming from in a male sense. My hat off to Sam Lipsyte.

This is the man of my dreams! Ruin my life that way, so that future events will never rival that one Big Bang which started our universe!!! PLEASE!!! This phrase especially tickled me: "some twitchy thing to do instead of reading that book again." After all, this hoopla is about neurochemical stimuli affecting some really obscure muscles. Clinically presented, there is no magic, no illusion of the grandeur, the swell of new love or the passion of the chase. Come to me, pal, with your problems. I'll help you ruin your life, too.

I'm a big fan of your magazine, and I read everything that you publish. The pictures don't do much for me; I am a lover of words. As such, I have just one thing to say about Lipsyte story: Huh?
