that just wasn't even kewl, I thought that it was going to be an interesting story on Jake Lamotta but this was deffinitly out of line, I really didn't want to hear about this guy getting laid and the way he described it was very derogitory towards women, he is wrong and I'm appalled by his behavior. I hope in the future this is never to be a mistake that people have to deal with again.

Oleg and I were close friends back in the '70s and'80s. The one thing I can honestly say about him is that he is the kind of man every woman wishes for...he has beautiful manners, is intelligent and funny and irreverant and above all, he seems to be very grateful for the opportunities he has had to become enormously successfu. He has a profound interest in American Indian culture, too, which made him very appealing to me. My only regret is that we didn't keep in touch the way we should have. He and I are both half Ukranien and half a little off. He is truly a legend and has pretty much lived life on his own terms. I will miss him when he is gone...

There are far too many remembrances here from women who had very BAD first times!! I realize most of them are book excerpts, & that alot of the famous people listed here came of age during times of intense sexual repression. It would be nice, however, if you would TRY to find a few more women with stories like Dr. Ruth - very positive experiences. Of course, it is an extension of our general American culture-we are obsessed with sex, but not COMFORTABLE with it-one can only imagine what many of those women's first experiences would have been like if they had been treated to the experience Burt Reynolds reports having-an older person who acted as teacher & lover both. I know that I was very lucky to have had one of those, & as a consequence had a wonderful first experience. We continued my training, & I think I could say that that initial tuition allowed me to become as expert as I have become!

RE: JOAN BAEZ.......Oh to have been her first, or even her present lover. I had the great please to meet Ms Baez in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1986 when she visited a nightclub I was managing and made it my job to become her personal escort and bodyguard while she was our guest. Let me tell you, she has the such incredibly soft skin one would think her to be in her teens or early twenties. Of all the celebrities with whom I've been honored to spend some time, Joan Baez is the sweetest, least demanding (in fact I had to beg her to accept any free drinks), accomodating and classiest woman I've ever known.

First time stories are repetitious. How many times can I read "is that it?" They were nervous, they weren't with somebody they loved, it hurt, and they felt different but not *fresh* when it was all over. The sad thing is I don't think that good first times are really any more interesting. What are they gonna say---it didn't hurt, I wasn't nervous? Strangely, sex and violence rejuvanate any story...
