What an intresting story. I thought it was beautiful. It's too bad you had to be high on acid. Who knows if it was truly a beautiful experience and not just a drugged induced memory for you as well. Thank you for sharing it with us.

The author writes in a style that allows the reader to, if only insantainiously, become something that one would never dream. To experiance a situation in so many more ways than can be described and yet relates to so much more than we realize. Amazing.

Always wondered why I never dropped acid as a kid... that probably just gave me the best reason not to. Compelling and unsettling.

this was pretty genius. this came at me from all angles. remembering what it was like to be that broke. taking whatever we could get our hands on. i've never been with a woman that was more than ten years my senior, but the idea still fascinates me.

Jerry stahl has already established his brilliance as a writer to me. In this piece he has encouraged me to write all that I have kept to myself; either from shame or the lack of realization that someone else might like to experience it. Reality is indeed much stranger than fiction...espeically when experinced by the bi-polar, drug using, sex funded, misanthropic....

It reads as distasteful as the act is in trying to revive a 60-80 year old flacid penis is, or would be, when young women are induced to face similar jobs. They just have the courtesy not to write about it since most interactions are not borne of love and affection, but attempts to prevent male "shrivel cycle passages."

Jerry Stahl is one of the few things that still leaves me rolling on the floor in tides of memory and laughter. Thanks.

I couldn't take my eyes off this piece, it took me on a ride. Never having had the LSD experience it gave me a small glimpse as to what it's like. The details in this story rock, and has a complete surprise ending. This gave me some ideas for my own writing, thanks for the story.

Such a finely crafted story, so beautifully written that the essence of life-affirming, loving universality shown through in the painfully real horrifying details. An inspiration to read. Inspires me to be as fearless in my own work.

Fucking great...the claim that it was the best sex he'd ever had is a stretch, but way to go for the brass ring with the role play. What's a dewlap?

i am speechless...this piece took me to a very humble place.

Once again fiction from another of nerve's mentally immature writers. She dyed her pubes jet black and left the hair on her head gun metal. Pubes don't gray like hair on head. It might wear-off before graying. Fantasy from someone inexperienced in life. What does it say about the readers who buy into it?

Sixty-five? It's no age at all. And even if it were, what's so extraordinary about doing out with an older woman?

.. G U L P !! OK weird trip that one was! But I have Deja Vu .... I think I read a very similar story about 20 years ago as a kid ... even the barfing part was in it, though the woman died as they were having sex. OK enough ... I have to re-group now!

Dear Jerry Stahl... That was intense. Thank you very much for writing St. Regis Death Trip, a journey I otherwise would have never been able to experience. I loved it the whole way through, and felt as though I was there tripping on acid myself, staring deeply into this old lady's wrinkly vagina, staring with my jaw hanging open as it spoke to me. Again, thank you for writing such a beautiful piece.

This is a great piece. I love art that is disturbing or that makes me uncomftable. It gives me a chance to see the world from a different perspective. I may not understand it all the time, but I try to.

No need to say it was beautiful. It really was. Coloring outside of the lines can be good for us.
