Reader Feedback on "Game Over"
Oh, but I have missed Mr. Stoddard... I am weeping with laughter.

Just because it's an article by Grant Stoddard does not automatically make it comment-worthy! :-) But in this case, it is. I got bored with the shoot-everything-that-moves variety of games years ago, and as the majority of new games always seem to fall into that category, I don't play much anymore. I would welcome the opportunity to exercise different portions of my brain in a computer game. From Grant's description, this game sounds promising, but it winds up being a complete thud, just because it's more frustrating than entertaining. Interacting with a fighting couple who won't stop fighting (or start doing interesting sexual things with you) might be fun as one scene in a larger game, but not as a game in itself. Still, if any video game designers are reading this, please, please, write something more interesting than yet another shooter game.

Nice to have you back Grant. Nice article. Glad to know I'm not the only person who remembers Eliza!
