Hey, where did you get the catch and release picture? Because that is myself (Jeremy) and teammates Brittany and Ben. WE played for a club team at Bradley University in Peoria, IL. I believe the picture is from 2-3 years ago. I was just curious, so friends passed the link on too me and i was suprised to se it.

You forgot to mention the blindfold-orgies and "sex-lotteries". And the Team-(sex)Call after each game...

Zagoria, It's not that you're wrong; it would be tough for me to deny that I hook up with ultimate players. Actors hook up with actors a lot. Bike messengers with bike messengers, astronauts with astronauts. What bothers me about this article is that you make ultimate seem like a meat market in which tossing the disc around serves as a convenient ice-breaker. Sex has nothing to do with WHY I play. I play because it's the most beautiful sport I've ever experienced. I play because I can't not play. You write: "For those who play Ultimate, sex and their favorite sport are often entwined." You forgot one crucial word: "co-ed." Yeah, there are co-ed players who are angling to get laid withouth having to work out or practice too often. But I would venture to say that for most of us, love of the sport is the one thing that motivates us to pave the track with sweat, to spend every weekend and much of our brain power and most of our paycheck on this game. Getting laid is just a bonus. Tucker

This is so humiliatingly accurate.

Just as a side note, I'm not sure Ambush has been to Paganello as a team, although I know that one of the captains, Becca Tucker, did play on a women's team called The Ovulators (mostly from a DC-based Bnogo women's team that has played at Paga in 04 and 06). Kabootie

Ultimate players are generally smart, athletic and free-spirited, which makes them inherently hot. Now this is investigative journalism!

As a Carleton College alum I couldn't agree with this article more. Something about the sport is just sexy. My fiancee and I fell in love while tossing a frisbee back and forth in Maine. He said that he fell for my forehand. I fell for the way he wanted to learn all the crazy trick thows that I knew. nothing in the whole world is a better aphrodisiac than frisbee. just fact.
