Reader Feedback on "Hey Doll"
Very cool story. I liked it. Very believable. I've been there.

I think the story was exceptional. i also think that all the readers sending their negative feedback are ignorant and predictable. The only reason you did not like this story ids because it was to artisticly thought out (too subtle for your feeble minds) you just come to this site for a cheap thrill and can't comprehend any intellectual erotica.

This story is nuts. That said, I disagree with the other reviewers who said it was not believable, and whatever other objections they had. Is a story of fiction always supposed to be believable? As symbolism this story is very powerful. The characters are well-drawn enough that it is not necessary to know more than you do about them. The woman lives her life without passion, except that which is scripted, which is perhaps how we all live our lives in this age of television, as spectators without real feeling.

This was the worst thing i've ever read on your site. Totally pointless.

Is it just me - or is this "erotic" short story clumbsy, stiff, and emotionless? The overall idea is creative though contrived - but the story neither flows or captures the reader. It's hard work! Since the bio on the writer indicates her great success, and I'm damn sure I can do better, this piece has encoraged me to start submitting my stuff. Aspiring Erotica Writer

This "story" had no credibility whatsoever, and it bordered on incomprehensible -- sometimes you just didn't know which character she was referring to. What's up with the filmmaking analogies and the characters not having any names? Only a dexterous writer should employ such techniques, and it's a travesty that Susannah Breslin fancies herself to have enough talent to pull it off. I've personally seen more talent from a leaf. But the worst part of all this is the piece had a very strange writing style -- not unique or original, just plain BAD. Reading the writer's credits at the end of the piece, I'm surprised that she's ever gotten published AT ALL, but I guess just about anything can pass for "writing" these days, especially if it's about the big S-E-X.

I THINK THIS "STORY" WAS LIKE THE WORST STORY I HAVE EVER READ. IF I WAS HER THE FIRST MINUTE I SAW BLOW-UP DOLLS AROUND THE TABLE I WOULD HAVE BEEN OUT. THIS STORY WAS SO NOT BELIEVABLE.
