Reader Feedback on "Anticipation"
Outstanding work. I admired it more than I enjoyed it if this is possible and makes any sense.

Love it. Like JP, it brings me back to when I chose someone over my husband and I have never looked back or regretted a moment of it. He still ignites every nerve in my body and mind.

Wow. I've been there--summer and fall of 2002. It ended with me walking out of a 12-year marriage because if I couldn't have the man I'd fallen for, I was going to lose my mind. An affair wasn't going to do it, either. We're still together, madly in love. The paragraph at the end about omnipresent desire describes the feeling of that year better than anything I've ever read. Thanks.

I'm afraid I can't find the correct words to give this essay the sophisticated approval it deserves, but I will say that I've read hundreds of essays on Nerve.com and this is the first that I've felt compelled to leave feedback about. I would just like to say that the writing is intellectually arousing and sexy and struck a chord in me. I can feel all of the senses the character feels and to the point of yearning, yet it is not spoiled with a graphic or obvious ending. Well done.
