Reader Feedback on "Separation Anxiety"
Lombardi has the ability to make the idea of slipping a vagina under someone's door plausible. Even the choice of calling it a vagina, although it included the labia, is in keeping with the characters. If there's but one thing to lament about this story is that it's not long enough. I can't wait to read more of your work.

I'd like to read more stories on this subject. I can certainly relate to this ficticious character's situation as my current situation is so similar. I always thought breaking up would get easier.

wow Lombardi.... I am a little drunk.. It's 4:00 in the morning and you really moved me. once again you have the human condition right in the palm of your hand and you mold it into such a way that us common folk non-writers can emphathize with. I like the detail. I like the honesty.... or at least the characters' honesty, even if it is not your own. It's brave and smart.... Good luck! You are extremely talented and I hope you have a novel I can read soon... seriously....... Maggie PS....don't stop.... remember to keep true to yourself no matter where you are in life......you have a gift

I don't think it needs feed back. It's quite good.

The vagina is the internal portion of the female genitalia, the birth canal, if you will. The external part is the vulva. Vaginas don't have labia. Vulvas do. You can't go around calling the whole of a woman's genitals a vagina b/c it doesn't make any damned sense. The clitoris is a part of the vulva, not the vagina. A little biological exactitude would make this story more interesting b/c I could read it without thinking, "No, it's not a vagina!" Don't be afraid to embrace the vulva.

Really great. Now all we need is the prose equivalent of "Detachable Penis."

Genuinely enjoyed reading it. Great theme, wonderful simpifying of a seemingly complex relationship. Have you written any plays? I think your style would translate wonderfully to the stage.

Loved it. I thought the imagery was facinating. And the tone of the story was just right on. Fantastic work, keep it up!
