Well written. I enjoyed it. --aaj 10/26 |
Hello- I did a google search on your name after seeing somewhere a question you posed asking if anyone could explain to you what a "hedge fund" is. You'll find that Dr. Orlin Grabbe explains it very well in his MBA text book. His web site is [http://www.orlingrabbe.com] and is updated daily. Don't fall asleep now. -Guy --GZ 08/10 |

Hey just read your story and think it's great.P.S you go girl --R.L 02/28 |
I thought the essay and the session were good and honest. The key part was that Carrie realised that porn is NOT someone making 'sexy' faces at the camera. That is why so much porn is so much junk!
The article introduced me to That Strange Girl, for which much thanks.
I am astounded at how rude some of these feedback comments have been. I hope that she chooses to be honest in front of the camera again. --SA 01/09 |
Great article and description of an experience. I had to comment. I think a lot of people missed what you were doing or maybe I'm just guessing but I think you grew a little with the photo session. It made you uncomfortable and you did it badly (according to you) and you'd do it differently next time... Those are all statements from someone who stretched a little and tried something they knew would be hard to do. But will there be a next time? Is it important enough to be good at being naked in front of a camera on a Web-site to do it again? OR do you always keep doing something until you get it right because you feel a compulsion of some sort. It wasn't really about porn or exposing your body.... But it kind of became about that along the way. And that might be where growth resides. --DG 12/17 |
Hmm. So many comments. So many points of view. I do agree with those that think you missed it towards the end. When women fall into the argument that porn is bad, wrong, or even misguided due to the number of sick people out there who feel that it is okay to grope helpless women, then not only are you missing the point, but you're continuing to set back the cause of women freeing their sexuality. --JJ 12/15 |
thanks.

That was a fabulous piece.

Nerve has been unbearably lame for years.
It just got worse.
Ivy League Grrrl, hie thee to a McDonalds and work the friggin fry line before you start with the political statements. Moron. --NYC 12/11 |
Why must intellectuals rationalize base human urges? Sounds like a good mind writing, why waste it on smut. --BD 12/10 |
You know what, this article does srtike on an interesting point. This summer, I went to a club down the shore with a bunck of guys and a girlfriend. After they all wanted to go swimmin, drunk, and naked. I'm not one to do something stupid but not one to pass on a challenge either..i was one of the first people in the water...naked! I never feeled freerer and more sexy. There is soemthing about being there, seen, in all your beauty and self conciousness exposed. Cant explain it....but it did somehting for me. --OK 12/10 |
wow, Carrie Hill WIllner, you sound like you find yourself pretty damn cute. --x 12/10 |
Loved the essay! I am a new comer to this site, but I think I'm going to become hooked. --sss 12/10 |
Interesting article, thank you for writing it. I'm a girl who takes self pix with my digital camera and posts them on certain 'amateur' sites (although I would never show my face). I make no money doing it, I do it for the fun of it, for the turn on... I also enjoy collecting pix of other girls, boys, couples & groups. It's a fun hobby - and a fascinating sub-culture.
There are many people (how many???) who get off posting explicit pix of themselves for the world to see and I think it's wonderful - although I am acutely aware that there are elements of both liberation and oppression wrapped up in the hobby. Our society (and probably the entire human race) is so intensely conflicted about sex & sexuality that no one can really say what's right and what's wrong (besides the obvious non-consensual acts), and I don't believe there is a clear distinction between healthy & unhealthy sexual acts (again, besides the obvious non-consensual stuff). I have a gut feeling that our collective sexual neuroses is intrinsically linked to the bigger world problems. We have a lot to work out about our sexuality and for me my little hobby is a part of that…..
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for the article…. and I’m psyched to think that both men & women may be jerking off to my explicit pix ! --Lg 12/08 |
if every article on Nerve Premium is as good as this, consider me sold. i was a tad pissed to see even this great place go the "Premium" way at first, but i can't blame y'all after this. quality work not only needs funding, it deserves funding. and more to the topic at hand: Carrie, whether this is some unconscious petit burgeois rebellion or just your own fun, whether it's art or porn, whether it's sexy or not, you're a brave, wonderful, eloquent person. and yes, sexy to boot, imho. if any editors are reading, here's for more from Carrie in the future. --oa 12/07 |
What a wonderful article. Introspection and self description
without narssistic egotism. Beaufifully written, it just
sucked me in. It was somewhat unexpected.
Most of my writing is technical: book reviews, computer
science and math. I wish that I could also achieve this
wonderful flow, without stilted prose. I hope that this
is simply an early example of a long career with the written
word. --ILK 12/07 |

Lux is as slick as a guy - conning college chicks into posing nude under the guise that it's a political statement. She's going to make bank from this porn (webmasters click here!), and the Intern, as usual, gets nothing. Get smart and at least get paid. These photos will be swiped by every other porn site on the net in 24hrs, if they're not already. Where do you think "Fresh Content Everyday!" comes from for the "Fresh Little Teens!" site? This Intern may have an Ivy League pedigree, but that doesn't mean she's very smart. She was probably some middle class kid they let in to cover their elitist little asses. Memo to Intern: the rich kids attended the same classes taught by vapid socialists as you did and got the same grade but that doesn't mean they actually believed that shit. Jeez kid, get a clue! --hype 12/06 |
interesting article, although it seems like just another co-opted trend in the artsy burgeuois race to be the first to the fringe, and then tell people you were there first... --MC 12/06 |
As I was checking out the freebies from www.thatstrangegirl.com I realized how much eye pleasing it was to see REAL pictures. At least I am tired of all the pictures with a cartoonish blonde with bad makeup, on a glossy photo. I'm very atracted by AlternaPorn sites, like; digitalgirly.com, frictionusa.com and houseoftransgressions.com From my point of view porn is not like pizza, "even bad pizza is good". Bad porn is just that, bad!.
Oh and Carrie, don't worrie not all of us who check out porn do it to get off, some of us are just admirers of the true beauty that is the real person.
Sorry I forgot my email: beaker26male@yahoo.com

Carrie,
I snuck over to your pictorial before reading the article because, well, because I was curious... I just wanted to let you know that you have a fantastic way with words, and that reading about your experience, your impressions and your fears, made seeing your pictures that much more sexy. My mother was always against porn, saying that it objectifies women (I don't think she could even contemplate porn with men in it), and, while I completely disagree with her, I've always felt that there was a sort of disconnect between the images and that which we hunger for in real life. At least to me, a person is not sexy until they take on a reality, which is why I prefer erotic stories, or real life videos to classic pictures-only pornography. If you decide to do it again (and I encourage you to, not only are you very physically attractive, but what comes out in your words is an alluring personality), then I think you should annotate your experience again. Thanks for the insightful article...
