Reader Feedback on "29 Thoughts About the Apparent Sexiness of the New Pope"
Nah, if you're "rejected at the Pearly Gates," it won't be because of this. (Though most of your "thoughts" were amazingly sophomoric. Kinda like frat boys trying to use big words.) But making fun of people who devote their lives to God and try, try, try their best to make our messed up world more thoughtful and humane and (heaven forbid) Christ-like...well...that sure won't swing the gates wide open for you. The Catholic church may be deeply flawed, but its strengths might just be even deeper. Let's hope and pray. And do our best to help, right? If you're really interested, check out Galatians 6:7-10. And then check out 1 Thessalonians 5:12-22. Shouldn't take longer than another "thought" or two, but it's really up to you.

I disagree. Liked it a lot. Made some out-loud laughing noises and everything.

This wasn't one of your better columns. But the word pope is really, really funny. I also get a kick out of popemobile.
