Umm...what? I don't think it sounds like this writer has "blow job" fears, I think it sounds like she was humorously, exagerratedly writing about something throwing her for a loop and dealing with it. as for getting something out of it...well, this is Bad Sex, right?

I see - I’ll urgently have to make arrangements to get a circumcision. And I’ll have to put Joseph Beuys on my nightstand as a suitably impressive display for my condoms. Or do you think some Gerhard Richter or Hermann Nitsch might do as well?
But before I get the Riesling chilled and the Wienerschnitzel breadcrumbed just let me say how much I enjoyed Rachel Shukert's vitriolic account of her carnal European unions. Being European myself and living in Vienna (with a couple of ties to the far side of the Atlantic), over many vears I've accumulated my own share of mirror-image experiences during various and occasionally life-changing encounters with a few selected specimen of the American female population.
So it was just a rare and precious pleasure to read the other side’s account in all it’s fond and loving mercilessness. Thank you Rachel, for making me laugh out loud - and for so pleasantly reviving some fond memories of my own.
