I've had interesting results with patterned sheets! However, it seems to be hard to find sheets with an artsy pattern that are also 100% cotton. They always seem to be one of the other, like if they have to pay the designer too much, they can't afford to make the sheets out of a decent material. Occasionally I do find a good set, but they seem to be few and far between.
