Jesus guys @ Nerve enough of the bold cliche phrases. written in red, these are hokier than a 'lock-ness humping bigfoot' tabloid. This guy can write well. You;re marring this very insiteful story. I really wished he was going to say that he was with her, or at least still talked to her. Just because a marketing angel is realized, or exists, doesnt mean it has to be splattered on top of this guys work. The only two generalized ingnorance based phrases were picked out and pushed in our faces, as if to market the title to us... It sort of insults the intelligence of your readers... Think about it, your audience consists of avid readers... Stop trying to sell to us... we made it this far, the article is going to get read.

To a small percentage of males, the aspect of a woman missing a limb is exceptionally erotic. This story evoked a great deal of pleasure in the image of the missing leg and description of the resulting stump or residual limb. I found it very interesting how the writer dealt with the issue and how the entire affair unrolled then undid itself.

It's weird how I felt for this essay. Some parts reminded me of a past partner (one guy was reluctant to kiss me hello or goodbye), but the weirdest thing is that as the author said, the most importat thing about her leg is that it wasn't important at all. I felt that sometimes one can put so much preasure on little (or sometimes mayor) flaws we think we have and it's no big deal if you don't make one out of it (like the woman on this story).
Anyway... i loved this essay.

funny, because the only stories i've heard about women with prostheses are from people who are extremely turned on by them. there's a whole world of people who fetishize them...i'm sure we'll be hearing from them on this page...
