Great article and I'm pretty sure key parties took place. I think the"key" wasto only invite couples thatthe other couples would want to be with. That way no one would be dissapointed. The swinger scene today is much different. Couples meet through web sites that caterto that. They also have meet and great in bars close to hotel rooms. You meet a couple or two or three that you are interested in and invite them to get a room. Once in awhile you'll get the couple that flakes out.
