Hi!,
being a dutchman, I could not resist to reply...
When talking about synomymes for "having sex" you really should know about "de Clicheemannetjes", a creation of the famous Kees van Kooten and Wim de Bie, two dutch cabaretiers. They managed to get over 15 (never really counted them!) synonymes for "having sex" in one scetch of about as many minutes, enriching the Dutch language with at least 5 new ones!
It was then, about the 1960 really, well, not done is not right, but to say the least it was still "shocking" :-)
I did a quick search for the text online, but could not find it... if you wish, i could translate it for you to real english? --paf 01/20 |
Ha...I'm Dutch and your article made me 'shake the potatoes dry'. Funny stuff. Keep up the good work.

Oooh, I am looking forward to the Danish version, with wonderful idioms like 'slag' which means battle or punch but refers to sex, or 'stiv pik og hår tilbage' which means an erection and slicked back hair but is also the same as saying 'I'm fine, thanks for asking.' --DD 01/16 |
A few errors:
'stoeiem met de geit' should be 'stoeien met de geit'
'vam bil gaam' should be 'van bil gaan' --MR 01/16 |
stoeiem met de geit - it's 'stoeien'
vam bil gaam - it's 'van bil gaan'
LOL we beat the Osbournes
