I have a lot of straight friends, not my fault, a lot of straight people around here. I write gay erotic fiction, web publish ... not my fault, my imagination works weekends. My friends get curious. If you say that if a straight male viewing porn gets in a "female state of mind" and concentrates on the cock, he would then get turned on by images of men ...Could you say that if gays are shown videos of women and mentally concentrate on the pussy and not the cock, they will actually start getting aroused with images of women?
The point the author tries to make, sounds very similar to the 'gay re-programming' experiment of some Christian groups.
For part 2 of the article, how about stating that if you are a straight male and have sex with other males with the light off and picturing your partner to be female, you will get turned on and enjoy homosexual experiencies? I really don't think sexuality is like a switch you can turn on and off if you 'concentrate on your opposite sexual preference' state of mind.
